The Golden Age of Piracy saw the rise of The Great Pirate, Bartholomew Roberts. A scourge of the Atlantic, Roberts and his crew terrorized hundreds of ships aboard the Royal Fortune during the mid 1700s. One only had to glimpse the infamous Jolly Roger flag and a dash of scarlet coattails on the ocean's horizon to know that they were next.
